Paver Sealing

Lock in the color, keep the weeds out, and shield your brick and concrete pavers from Florida sun, rain, and salt air.

Overview

What Is Paver Sealing and Why It Matters in Florida

Paver sealing cleans your brick or concrete pavers, re-sands the joints, and locks in a protective sealer that guards the color against Florida sun and rain. Amazing You Cleaning has sealed driveways, pool decks, and walkways across New Port Richey and Tampa Bay since 2015.

Under our year-round sun, unsealed pavers fade quickly, and constant humidity invites weeds, moss, and ant nests to settle into the sand between them. Near the Gulf, salt air and mineral efflorescence, that chalky white haze, leave pavers looking tired long before their time.

Owner Ron and his crew treat every job the same way: bring back the rich, just-installed look and give the surface a real shield against stains, UV fade, and erosion. Amazing You Cleaning is family owned, licensed, and insured.

Our Process

How Our Paver Sealing Works

Paver sealing is a four-step job: deep clean the surface, treat the joints, re-sand, and seal. Skipping any step is why cheap seals fail early.

1. Deep Clean & Strip

We pressure clean the whole surface, lifting dirt, algae, and any failing old sealer so the new coat bonds to clean paver.

2. Treat Weeds & Moss

We clear weeds, moss, and mold from the joints and remove chalky efflorescence so nothing gets sealed in underneath.

3. Re-Sand the Joints

We sweep fresh joint sand into the gaps, locking the pavers together and giving the surface a stable, even base.

4. Seal & Cure

We apply a professional-grade penetrating or film-forming sealer, then let it fully cure so it stands up to traffic, rain, and sun.

Why It Matters

Benefits of Paver Sealing

Sealing protects the money you already spent on your pavers while making the driveway or patio look new again.

Richer, Deeper Color

Sealing restores the natural color of brick, travertine, and concrete pavers, with the option of a matte or wet look.

Fewer Weeds & Ants

Stabilized joint sand keeps weeds and ant nests from taking hold in the gaps between your pavers.

Longer Lifespan

A sealed surface resists UV fade, oil and rust stains, and the erosion our summer storms cause, so your pavers last longer.

Where We Serve

Paver Sealing Across Tampa Bay

We seal pavers in every community we serve, matching the sealer to the surface and how hard it gets used.

The newer master-planned neighborhoods of Trinity and Lutz often show efflorescence on their paver driveways and pool decks, while the larger lots around Odessa mean long driveways that get the most out of a durable seal. Closer to the Gulf in New Port Richey, Hudson, and Palm Harbor, salt air and humidity make regular sealing worth it on waterfront patios and walkways.

Paver sealing pairs well with our pressure cleaning, travertine sealing, and house washing services when you want the whole exterior to match.

Common Questions

Paver Sealing FAQs

A quality seal typically lasts two to three years before it needs reapplying, depending on foot traffic, sun exposure, and whether the surface is a busy driveway or a shaded walkway.
Sealing mainly enhances and deepens your pavers' existing color rather than changing it. We can finish it matte or with a wet look, depending on the look you want.
Yes. We clean out the old sand and debris and sweep fresh sand into the joints before sealing, which locks the pavers in place and helps keep weeds out.
That white film is efflorescence, a natural mineral deposit common on Florida pavers. We treat and remove it during cleaning so it does not get sealed in.
Yes. We seal pool decks, lanais, patios, and walkways, and we can add a slip-resistant additive to surfaces that regularly get wet.
